Things I Learned in August

Things I learned... and mostly re-learned over the last month.
Words are a strong but mighty thing.
We can’t just remove the bad, we have to replace the bad with good.
Yes, it hurts when those who you love most don’t get it… but God does.
No sin is too great for God to forgive.
The best motivation is the unexpected…
Understanding can be found in the strangest of places…
Home is where your family is…
Home is also what you make it…
Coconut oil is actually not hard to cook with…
Sometimes all you can do is roll the windows down and turn the music up...

Walking the dog can be the simplest, greatest moments of the day...
We should rejoice in today…
There is no telling what tomorrow might bring…

This monthly review was encouraged by my favorite writer, blogger, published author, creative mind, and kindred spirit, Emily P. Freeman. Her newest book 'Simply Tuesday' was released in August. It is simply amazing. I haven't even read this work of art completely because I want to soak up every word, but I have already gifted two people with it!

  1. "Understanding can be found in the strangest of places" - I love this and I can totally relate to this. P.S. Dog walks are amazing.
