Quiet Since I have not had much of a voice for almost two weeks… ‘Quiet’ triggers a very real mix of emotions for me. At times in the past I have longed for quiet… as there seems to be rest, comfort, and sometimes ease away from noise. I have longed for simple-ness quiet brings. I have desire the stillness that accompanies quiet. Most of us are aware of the stillness of quiet. As I conclude another week of being unable to talk clearly… quiet is a real frustration to me. You see as important as it is to speak to be understood not to be heard… when you have the inability to physically talk for a long period of time, I, myself, reach a point where I just want to be heard, noticed, acknowledged, and/or understood. MAYBE even to be able to talk just because… to not have to pick and choose my words selective or always consider when I’m going to force my voice the hardest.
