Never Enough - Faith & Grace

(This post is part of a Tale of Humility in our Honeymoon Saga. If you'd like to start at the beginning read this post and then this one .) Well the moment of truth had arrived. I don't exactly remember how I told my husband we may have to begin the first day of our honeymoon with shopping BEFORE we start our 7 hour drive to the beach....He is a very easy going guy, so there was no real ruckus. - Well, except for the pit of my stomach which was rumbling with something much heavier than butterflies as we walked to the car. My wonderful husband helped me get to my big ol' suitcase buried under all our belongings... as you may well know if you're married there is a science to loading a vehicle... and while most gals would put their bags in easy to get to locations...for men it is much more about burying the huge, bulky items and placing items strategically in a geometric pattern...I guess my suitcase qualified as big and bulky...I thought I packed well...

Maybe, just maybe I hadn't left my makeup! I mean, no way I was in the car with my new husband only a few hours after our nuptials with no make-up. Right?! One thing was for sure I wasn't going to worry with it. God had been doing marvelous work in my life. Crazy how He works things out when you let Him run the show! I prayed and resolved that God would take the issue off my mind and help me deal with the possible problem tomorrow. While I did not believe God would play genie and make my make up bag appear in the car if I had left, I did believe He would help me handle the situation.
